Nurse Tyne, who has left the staff of the Whakatane Public returned to-day to her home in Napier. Her friends are pleased to know that she has made a good recovery from her recent accident. In the latest issue of the Gazette the transfer of Captain R. Jones, Ist Battalion, Hauiaki Regiment to the Auckland Regiment is not fled, and also the posting of Second-Lieuten-ant A. R. Gough to the Ist Cadet Battalion. Mrs T.
