CAR OVER BANK
o CATHOLIC PRIEST HURT While proceeding by car from Tauranga to Auckland an accident befell the Rev Father Clarke. When travel, ling across a, high filling some distance past the Omokoroa Store the car skidded and Avent over a steep bank, somersaulting several times. A truck driver saw the accident and immediately brought Father Clarke to Tauranga where he received medical attention. Fortunately he was not seriously injured, but is suffering from shock. He is at present i.a a private hospital. The car was very badly damaged.
