O : Word has been received that Mr H. tie Castro, Government Audit Inspector, who for the past four years has carried out the audit of accounts of the local authorities of the Rotorua Tauranga, Opotiki and Whakatane districts, is a<bout to be relieved of part of the territory, including Tauranga where he will be succeeded by Mr Mulcahy. During his term Mr de Castro whilst giving proof as an officer in departmental efficiency and control, has also become deservedly popular not only with local body of_ ficials but also amongst those people of this district with whom he ca-jrui In contact.
