crs for Paengaroa were Messrs P. Hickson, A. Walter, E. Pinker and V. Benner. and for Waimana 11. Wool field, L. McDonnel, H. C. White and R. White. The shield was presented by Mr D. S. Auckland Provincial Council chairman. The winners will meet teams in the provincial contest at the Young Farmers' Clubs rally at Ruakura State farm in July.
