In the Bogey Cup match Mrs King wa s all square, Mrs Nicholls 1 down, M'ss Jarrett 1 down; Miss J. Moody I flown. KIJSTG TROPHY MATCHES The first round of the combined match for Mr A. C. King's trophic; will be played on Sunday afternoon the 21st inst. DAIRY COAVS POISONED A Te Puke farmer, Mr H. D. Day, had the misfortune recently to lose II cows of his dairy herd the beasts dying of poisoning. A veterinary who examined the animals was unable to establish the cause of death, but an English shrub which is growing on the farm is suspected.
