NAZI WAR MACHINES

Report Of Two New Types

Of Plane

HEAVY ARTILLERY WEAPON

Rec. 11 a.m.

LONDON, July 29

A Zurich message states that German gunnery experts have produced a new heavy artillery weapon with shells of approximately 65.5 centimetres, which are reported to be able to destroy any fortification.

Two new types of planes are being produced for the Luftwaffe. The first is manufactured at the Dornier works and is named the Parachute Stuka, owing to its tail-brake, which opens up like an umbrella, giving extra security at a dive speed of 800 kilometres. The second is manufactured at the Blohm-Voss works and is named the Asymetric.
