AID AUSTRALIA

Limit Of New Zealand Resources In Major Threat MR. FRASER'S ASSURANCE Special Australian Correspondent SYDNEY, July 29. New Zealand is prepared to come to Australia's aid to the limit of her ability in the event of a major threat by the enemy, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Mr. Fraser, told political correspondents at Canberra. The Prime Minister, Mr. Curtin, was present at the interview.

"We know also that if an immediate danger cornea either to New Zealand or to New Caledonia or Fiji, which are New Zealand's outposts, we can rely on Australia coming to our assistance," he added.

Mr. Fraser said the most impressive feature of his Australian tour was the confidence that existed between Mr. Curtin and General MacArthur, adding: "This confidence inspires in me a feeling of the utmost satisfaction."

Mr. Fraser will be the guest of honour at a Ministerial luncheon at Parliament House to-morrow. Opposition members of the War Council will also attend.
