PATEA RAILWAY HOLD-UP

(0.C.) WANGANUI, Friday. , T Rail traffic between Wanganui and New Plymouth was again disrupted to-day following a subsidence in the track half a mile north of the Patea station, and a washout occurred in the same locality which gave trouble on Wednesday and caused delays to express trains.

Maintenance gangs were sent to the scene of the washout immediately. In the meantime freight Sol } th of Hawera and north ot Patea has been temporarily suspended.
