National Horses Will Increase Washdyke Interest

(Special). CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Several Grand National Steeplechase and Winter Cup candidates will add interest to the South Canterbury Hunt Club's annual meeting at Washdyke tomorrow. Though there are only seven acceptors for the South Canterbury Steeplechase, it should be a good race, as most of the horses look evenly matched. Gay Boa, Prince Flaneur and AngloFrench look the best propositions. Waitoru and All Night appeal among the Winter Cup horses in the Claremont Handicap, while St. Cloud is galloping In his best style and may be coming back to form.
