TRANSPORT CONTROL
AUCKLAND COMMITTEES (P. A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Minister of Transport, Mr. Semple, announced the appointment of the following Auckland control committees under the recently gazetted Transport Control Emergency Regulations:— Goods Transport.—Messrs. C. J. Mahon (Papatoetoe), R. J. Carbines, E. J. Price, J. H. Moon, H. A. Craig, A. E. Frankham and G. E. Roberts (Railway Department). Taxi Services.—Messrs. J. A. C. Sinclair, F. I. Drumm and C. D. Bowlder. The main objects of the committees are to conserve tyres, petrol and motor vehicle usage. They will commence duties straight away
