OBITUARY
MR. R. CLEPHANE
The death has occurred of Mr. Robert Clephane, aged 78, of Howick. Mr. Clephane was born in Christchurch and later had farming interests in North Canterbury, South Canterbury, Southland, Wairarapa. and Waikato. He was a director of the Horotiu Freezing Company since its inception, and also one of the first directors of the Waingawa works. Mr. Clephane was interested in all forms of sport and owned a number of racehorses and trotters. He is survived by one son and three daughters.
