TEACHERS' SOCIETY

There was a good attendance of professional and associate members and guests at the monthly evening of the Auckland branch of the Society of Registered Music Teachers of New Zealand, held in the Lewis Eady Hall. Piano and violin items were given by the junior circle and piano items by the instrumental circle. Items were also given by the vocal circle. An interesting talk about the mechanism of the organ, interspersed with reminiscences, was given by Mr. W. H. Simpson on behalf of the organ circle.
