EXPRESS TRAINS DELAYED
Two special trains from Wellington due in Auckland at 7 a.m. and 7.55 a.m. yesterday were many hours late. This was due to delays at Paekakariki, just outside Wellington. The first express arrived at 1.30 in the afternoon, six hours and a half late, while the second arrived 20 minutes later.
