AUCKLANDER MISSING.

SERVICE WITH NAVAL ABM.

Acting-Leading Airman Bruce Rennie Laing, who has been serving with the Air Fleet Arm in England, is reported as miesing, according to advice which has been received by his mother, Mrs. Martha Laing, of 30, Pah Road, Epsom. He is her youngest son. Acting-Leading Airman Laing was born in Scotland, but came to Auckland when he was eight yeara old. After attending the Epsom School he was entered in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy and trained as a signalman, winning cups by his work when he was in H.M.S. Philomel. He was later drafted to H.M.S. Lender, and rose to the rating of leading signalman. Last year he volunteered for transfer to the Fleet Air Arm, and left for England in June. i
