CLIPPER'S ARRIVAL.
FLIGHTS TO SYDNEY.
With Taoman Empire Airways' flying boats making several trips across the Tasman this week and Pan-American Airways' Honolulu Clipper arriving tomorrow afternoon, Auckland"s marine airport will experience an exceptionally busy period during the next few days.
The Clipper, which arrived at Canton Island at 3.15 p.m. yesterday, New Zealand time, left on her flight to Noumea at 4..3 C) a.m. to-day. It is expected that she will commence the north-bound return trip on Saturday.
Under the command of Captain J. W. Burgess, the flying boat Awarua will take oft" for Sydney to-morrow morning with 13 passengers and a large quantity of mail and freight. On her return on Friday .--he will carry, anions other*, six passengers who have booked for the flight of the Clipper on its north-bound trip. A flying boat will cross to Sydney again on Saturday carrying several passengers who arrived on the Clipper, and will return to Auckland on Sunday.
