Mr. R. J. Kerridsre will be a passenger on the Limited express for Wellington to-night. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, left for Wellington by train last night. Mr. F. G. Farrell, president of the Auckland Automobile Association, returned from New Plymouth by air yesterday. Mr. H. Prcnvse. for eitilit years connected •with the staff of the Invercarjiill Borstal Institution, has accepted a position at .Waikeria, in the Waikato. The Rev. B. C. Xotta.se, of the New Hebiides Presbyterian Mission, at piesent on furlough ill Xew Zealand, has forwarded his resignation to the missions' committee for medical reasons. Dr. J. F. Staton, D.Mus.. F.R.C.0.. L.R.A.M., examiner for the Royal Schools of Music (London), who was to have conducted examinations in Wanganui this week, has been forced to remain in Hawera because of illness. The examinations have been postponed.
