MRS. ANNIE GITTOS.

The death has occurred at Stanley Point, where shv had been resident for about 40 years, of Mrs. Annie Christian Anna Gittos, wido.y of the late Mr. J. W. Gittos, .-, well known Auckland lawyer. In her earlier days, along with her late husband, Mrs. Gittos was keenly interested in yachting and mountaineering. During the latter part of her life she did no', enjoy the best of health, but over a long period bore her sufferings with great fortitude. With no family of her own, Mrs. Gittos will be much missed by a large circle of friends who bear witness to her many kindnesses and great philanthropy. She survived her husband 6ome 15 years.
