ASSAULT ON WOMAN. POLICE ALLEGE RAZOR USED. WELLINGTON. this day. Edward Henry Holding, 'SI, chemist, wlio was charged with assaulting Ida Winifred Wliitelaw so a< to cause her actual bodily harm, was remanded by Mr. .T. L. Stout. S.M.. to Wednesday. He refused bail, saying it would probably be in accused's own interest no't to have it. The police alleged that Golding slashed the woman with a razor.— (Press Assn.)
