KOHIMARAMA YACHT CLUB.
The third annual meeting of the Kohlmarama Yacht Club was held on Thursday evening st the club rooms 30. KoMmuanu Road, the commodore. Mr. E. C. Blackburn presiding. The commodore stated that during the past year the club had made steady progress, membership increased from 80 to 140. with 35 boats on the register. It was proposed to open the third season in the first week in November, and hold races each week-end. He thanked >11 who had assisted the club, especially Mr. and Mis. C. H. R T'he S president. Mr. Geo. Goodwin, congratulated the officers and members on the success ot the past season and hoped that the coming one would be equally good. He offered a silver shield to be competed for over a series ol races. Mr. A. Allwood offered a prize for the boat gaining the highest points during the season. Both donors were thanked for their gifts. The balance sheet showed the financial position ot the club to be satisfactory. The following officers were elected for the coming season:—President, Mr. G. Goodwin; commodore. Mr. R. C. Blackburn;; vice commodore. Mr. H. Hansen: club captain. Mr. D. Gordon; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. H. Rogers; judge and handlcapper, Mr. J. White; starter and timekeeper. Mr. C. H. Rogers; hon. auditor. Mr. W. Hughes; committee. Messrs. J. Stenbeck. W. Stanton, J. Farr and S. Foster.
