XO RECORD IN AUCKLAND. Froet w*« recorded at Pukekohe, Famakura, Takanini and Papaibetoe this morning. From inquiries made at Fuke-kohe-the f«»t was light and was not noticeable on Pnkekohe Hill. "It wae noi of sufficient severity to do any harm to the crops," eaid a resident this morning. According-to a Papakura farmer th« iroet wae "rather hard." He said there wae ice on the water at 6 a.m. and the ground was white everywhere, j The Auckland meteorological office stated to-day that there -was no frost recorded et Albert.
