MAORI DANGEROUSLY ILL.
GISBORNE, Tuesday. Advice that their son, Private J. P. R. Kingi, a member of the Maori Battalion serving abroad, is dangerously ill as a result of an accident, has been received by Mr. and Mrs. J. Kingi, of Waihirere. Mr. Kingi was himself a member of the Maori Pioneer Battalion during the last war and suffered the loss of a leg while on active service.
