CATHOLIC WOMEN.

ANNUAL FAIR HELD. In aid of league .funds and charitable work, their annual fair was held by the Catholic Women's League in their rooms yesterday. The league president, Mrs. M. Pilling, received the guests. There were nine stalls, which included one containing parcels filled with soldiers' needs packed ready for posting. Tea and luncheon were served throughout the day by members of the house committee and a band of helpers. A musical entertainment was presented last night, and this evening there will be a programme by the Grail Girls. A concert contributed to by various Auckland artists will be the concluding feature of the fair to-inorrow night.
