OBITUARY.
mrs. i. McAllister. NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The death occurred at Stratford yesterday of. Mrs. Isabella McAllister, in her 100 th year. She had enjoyed good health until recently and appeared to have every prospect of reaching the century in May of next year. Mrs. McAllister was born at Greenoeh, Scotland, and was married before she went to Dunedin in 1575. Her husband died five years afterwards and she had been a widow for <>0 years. Mrs. McAllister is survived by three daughters and one son. MISS REBA COHEN. The death has occurred in England of Mi ss Reba Cohen, who was at one time honorary musical conductor to the Auckland Synagogue Choir. Miss Cohen was the founder and conductor of the Albion Ladies' Musical Society and possessed a fine soprano voice. She is survived by Mr. X. Cohen (Auckland), Mrs. B. Bishop (Hull, England), Mrs. 1. J. Goldsmith, J.P. (Wellington), Mrs. S. Hart (Wellington), Mr. A. Cohen, J.P. (Melbourne), Mr. L. Cohen (Dunedin) and Mrs. Ray Cohen (Wellington).
