SHEPHERD DROWNED.
WAIPAWA (H. 8.), Monday. The body of Mr. Roy Douglas McKeown, single, aged 22, a shepherd employed at Tamamu Station, Waipawa, was discovered late this afternoon in circumstances indicating that he had been washed from his horse when attempting to cross a flooded stream.
