LIMERICK'S CONDITION. SERIOUS TRIAL GALLOP TO-MORROW. FUTURE ENGAGEMENTS THEN DECIDED. SYDNEY, this day. Mr. H. A. Knight, owner of Limerick, has arrived in Sydney. He stated that he found Limerick in better condition than he epected. The horse would be given a serious trial on the grass track over a mile to-morrow, when he would decide whether Limerick would fulfil his future spring engagements.

THE ANNUAL MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, this day. The annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club was held before a good attendance of members. Mr. A. E. Newsham (president) occupied the chair. The balance-sheet, which showed a credit of £1027 15/7, was- adopted. The president stated that alter fully investigating various propositions the committee had finally bought a section in Cameron Road for the purpose of erecting loose-boxes and motor accommodation. The following officers wei-e elected: Patron, Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P.; president, Mr. A. E. Newsham; vicepresident, Mr. I. A. Guinness: judge, Mr. R. H. Wylie; handicapper, Mr. F. J. MacManemin; starter, Mr. A. Vincent; clerk of scales, Mr. C. H. Jordan; assistant clerk of scales, Mr. A. J. Sladdon; clerk of course, Mr. A. W. Snodgrase; timekeeper, Mr. E. R. Handle; hon. veterinary surgeons, Mr. W. J. Collins and Dr. W. C. Ring; hon. surgeons, Dr. T. Stuart, Dr. J. B. MacDiarmid, and Dr. A. H. Tovey; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. Tanner; secretary, Mr. S. G. Willcock; auditor, Mr. R. L. Thomas; stewards, Messrs. E. Pemberton and A. Harper; committee. Messrs. E. L. Broad, J. G. Green, I. M. Darragh, W. L. Davoren, S. Darragh, A. Davoren, B. Dive, T.
