MARINE PARK DEVELOPMENT VALIDATING EXPENDITURE. While in Wellington this week th Mayor, Mr. Geo. Baildon, waited on th Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stall worthy, in connection with the vestinj of Motuihi in the City Council for th> purposes of a marine park. The Mayor pointed out that as neces sary formalities had not yet been com pleted the City Council was not in i position to carry out improvements. The Minister undertook to providt legislation to validate any expenditure which the City Council might mak< meanwhile in the way of improving th< park for the public. The Mayor stated to-day that in viev of the approach of the summer seasoi he would bring before the Council th« question of providing the facilities re quired at Motuihi.
