MISSING SEAMAN.
SHIP DELAYED OVERNIGHT. Through the absence of one of the seamen, the L nion C.o. s steamei Ivai* korai was delayed in port overnight. The vessel was to leave for Westport at 9 o'clock last night, but at sailing time she was a man short. The absentee could not be found, and as it was then too late to sign-on a substitute, the vessel was held up for the night. Another A.B. was signed on at the shipping office this morning, and the ship sailed for Westport at 10.25 a.m.
