HOUSEMAID'S DEATH.

EXPIRES SUDDENLY IN HOTEL. Florence Duncan, a single woman, aged 32, employed as a housemaid at the Star Hotel, Otahuhu, died suddenly at 2 o'clock yesterday morning. She was taken ill suddenly shortly after midnight, and Dr. Roach, of Otahuhu, who was summoned, was present when death occurred. At an inquest held this morning by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., a verdict that death was due to apoplexy was returned.
