"MIGHT GET 'THE SACK'."

HAMILTON, this day.

For failing to report to the police under a probation order for theft, John Fagan was sentenced to a month's imprisonment. Shortly after the order was made Fagan ceased reporting. He told tlio Court to-day that he feared his employer would give him the "sack" if lie knew ho was reporting on order for theft. He had made 110 attempt to leave the district.
