BRITAIN AND RUSSIA.
FORMULA FOR AGREEMENT,
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) LONDON, September 25. The diplomatic correspondent of the "Morning Post" states that a formula for an agreement between Britain and Russia will most likely be found by which the Soviet will undertake to acknowledge in writing the principle of her indebtedness, and she will agree to the cessation of propaganda. A final settlement dealing with finance and trade will be concluded after the Soviet representative has been nominated. All the arrangements will be subject to discussion when Parliament meets. .STILL NEGOTIATING. AGREEMENT NOT YET REACHED (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, September 25. In connection with the Anglo-Soviet discussions it is pointed out that there cannot be a resumption of relations till Parliament approves. Mr. Arthur Henderson, Foreign Secretary, and M. Dovgalovsky, Russian envoy, were silent as sphinxes after to-day's conference. They merely announced there would be another meeting, but did not indicate when.
