BRIDGE PARTY.
A very successful bridge afternoon, which had been arranged by a committee of ladies in aid of the Sunbeam Free Kindergarten, took place yesterday afternoon in Miss M. A. Johnson's ballroom, Dromorne Road, Remuera. The room was delightfully arranged with bowls of spring blooms, and a cheery wood fire helped to give an attractive setting for the guests. A workstall offered many novelties for sale, and during the afternoon delicious homemade sweets were sold as well.
