TAKAPUNA BOATING CLUB.
The social committee of the Takapuna Boating Club held .one of their popular dances in the clubhouse at Bayswater last night, when Mrs. Lawrence's EepaZ Trio played popular numbers for the dances, and supper was served by the ladies of the committee. Those present were: Mrs. K. Lidgard, in pale pink georgette and tulle; Mrs. J. Mackay, rose taffeta and georgette; Mrs. Inkster, black satin; Mrs. Edwards, figured crepe de chine; Mrs. Cook, beige figured marocain; Mrs. Peters, Nile green figured crepe de chine; Mrs. Deacon, ivory spotted net tinted over cyclamen; Miss Hurfit, copper sequinned frock. Others present were: Mrs. Newey, powder blue georgette and silk; Mrs. Forsyth, gold | and blue brocaded crepe de chine; Mrs. J. S. Oliver, navy and whelk silk; Mrs. Hurren, sea-green crepe de chine; Mrs. Dowle (Olmra), pale pink crepe de chine, embroidered; Mrs. Harrison, cloud grey lace; Mrs. Burgess," cedar crepe de chine and georgette; Mrs. Wade, cyclamen embossed georgette; Mrs. Brinsdcn, royal blue shawl, black crepe do chine; Mrs. T. Hooker, lilac taffeta and silver lace; Mrs. Brett, rose pink satin charmcuse; Miss Madge Jul wards, maize georgette and silver lame; Miss L. Lye, silver tissue and lace; Miss M. Williamson, tomato red crepe de chine; Miss A. Armitage, black panne velvet; Miss M. Patterson, wild rose georgette; Miss T. Smith, .black velvet and georgette; Miss Blackwcll, pale blue taffeta; Miss C. Carlaw, pink diamante; # Miss L. Nicholson, rose pink floral silk; Miss J. Nicholson, sea-green crepe de chine; Miss A, Gunn, blue crepe de chine; Miss Doris McKec, pink georgette; Miss Iv. Williamson, black satin, silver panels. The winners of the Monte Carlo dance weve Miss M. Edwards and Mr. W. Clarke.
