REP. TEAM CRITICISED. "Soccerite"' writes:—l, with otliors, was greatly surprised at the selection of the rep. team to meet Wellington next Saturday for the English Trophy. After seeing both matches last Saturday, I was astounded at the omission of Bell, of Trams, from the forward line, especially from a scoring standpoint. Apparently scoring forwards are not wanted. How the selector can prefer the man he has chosen is a puzzle. There is also another position causing some comment, in fact .1 am losing faith ill sole selectors. Perhaps it is the selector's aim to spread the team out amongst various clubs, but Soccer supporters want the best team, irrespective of any clubs.
