INTERHOUSE GIRLS.
A very bright and successful dance was held at the new clubroome of the Intel-house Girls' Club, last evening. The function was organised by the staff of Smith and Gaughey, Limited, and the proceeds were in aid of club funds. The dance hall looked most attractive with the lines of red and white flowers, the club colours, and festoons of streamers that were looped from eide to eide, and in the lounge large bowls of arum lilies were to be seen. There was a. good attendance of dancers, and a number of very pretty frocks Avere worn. Amongst those present weis: Mrs. F. Buddie, who wore a frock of nattier blue satin; Mrs. Smith, black lace over pink; Mrs. J. S. Caughey, pfnk sprigged grosgrin; Mrs. R. Sutherland, black satin; Mrs. Dawson, flesh pink georgette, beaded; Mrs. Fielder, jade beaded georgette; Mrs. Mcßride, mauve georgette; Mrs. Fraser, black georgette with diamante buckle; Miss Wagner, lime green georgette; Miss Cunningham, pink taffeta; Miss L. Buddie, white chenille; Miss Smith, green georgette with sequin trimming; Mise Newman, figured lame and apricot tulle; Miss Edgecumbe, black georgette; Miss Prideaux, orange velvet and rainbow tulle; Mies Davidson, powder blue tulle; Miss Crosby, blue taffeta; Miss Williams, blue beaded georgette; Miss Kemp, moonlight blue chenille; Miss Booker, cyclamen tinsel and georgette; Miss Sword, amber taffeta; Miss E. Prideaux, flame taffeta with tiered skirt; Miss Gay, peach georgette; Miss M. Hitt, delphinium blue and silver lace; Miss B. Sharpe, leaf green crepe de chine and lace; Miss Svenson, flame* georgette beaded in Steele; Miss Goodman, black taffeta with lace hem; Miss M. ■Tonee, mauve crepe de chine and figured tinsel; Miss E. Stevenson, cherry georgette: Miss Eoylance, scarlet georgette with hem of gold lace; Miss Foster, mimosa crepe de chine and silver; Miss Lee, rose crepe de chine; Miss E. Sutherland, silver tinsel and georgette; Miss Tierney, apricot georgette; Miss Hinchliffe, rose crepe de chine; Miss Neilson, palest pink chiffon; Miss M. Langton, apricot chenille georgette; Mise Scott, turquoise georgette; Mise Harrison, powder blue lace; Miss Evans, black velvet; Mtes Woolley, lemon chiffon; Miss Aitchison, green taffeta with overskirt of tulle; Miss H. Graham, rase and black frilled frock; Miss .11.
