OBITUARY.

MR. H. L. HERON.

The Commercial Bank of Australia's Auckland branch received cabled information to-day that the bank's general manager, Mr. H. L. Heron, died suddenly at Melbourne to-day. MR. R. EAGLETON. Many friends in Auckland will learn with regret of the death of Mr. Randolph Eagleton, at the age of 47 years. Mr. Eagleton was a son of Mr. Randolph Eagleton, sen., and was in the hairdressing business with his father in Victoria Street West. He was a South African War Veteran, having been a member of the Ninth Contingent in 1901.

The death of Mr. Eagleton was very sudden. He had been suffering from pneumonia for only two days, when his heart failed. Deceased was very popular with all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters. The funeral was held this afternoon.
