ATTACKED BY PIG.
MAN SEVERELY BITTEN. RESCUING HIS CAMPANION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. Painful injuries were sustained on Sunday by Mr. M. Davies, farmer, of Kereone, through being attacked by a pig. Mr. Davies and Mr. J. Eynon were transferring sows and young pigs when a sow attacked Mr. Eynon, who was knocked down. While endeavouring to pull the pig off Mr. Eynon, Mr. Davies was bitten on one hand, two fingers being badly lacerated and the bones broken.
