FOOTBALLERS INJURED.
__— o MISHAP AT EDEN PARK. Two players, Mr. K. C. Stewart, aged 24 (Law), and Mr. W. Kershaw, aged 17 (Insurance), who collided during the Insurance v. Law Kugby match at Eden Park yesterday, received painful injuries to the head. They came together head-on with such violence that .each had to have stitches in a cut over the eye. Besides minor cuts, both were suffering from shock, and were taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. After treatment they were both able to go to their homes. ~ M. Stewart is employed by Messrs. Jackson, Russell, Tunks and West, solicitors, and lives at 76, Lucerne Road, Remuera while Mr. Kershaw is an employee of National Insurance, and lives at Astley Avenue, New Lynn.
