NINETY-TWO YEARS OLD.

MR. PHILIP LE QUESNE. (By Telegraph Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. Hamilton's oldest resident, Mr. Philip Le Quesne, celebrated his 02nd birthday anniversary yesterday. Mr. Le Quesne was born in Jersey on October 7, 1836, and he arrived in Auckland on May 10, 1660, He opened a store there six years later and two years after the establish" ment oFlhe military settlement at Hamilton he moved here and opened a general store. He was afterwards for some time proprietor of the Waikato Hotel. Mr. Le Quesne is now living in retirement at Hamilton East. He has possesion of all his faculties and is remarkably hale and hearty.
