PRESENTATION.
LIEUT.-COL. D. B. BLAIR. (By Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. An interesting ceremony took place last week when Colonel H. R. Potter, on behalf of the officers of the North Auckland Regimental District, presented a beautiful New Zealand rug, appropriately embroidered, to Lieut.-Colonel D. B, Blair, M.C., D.5.0., who has retired on superannuation from the position of staff officer in command of the North Auckland district, and who, with his family, is about to take up his residenceip France.
