RISE IK TEMPERATURE. SMALL FIRES AT MOUNT EDEN. Two outbreaks of fire were dealt with hy the Mount Eden Fire Brigade this iporning. The first cjlJI was at a, quarter to foiir tg a gevpn-rppmed house at l>'o 15, Milton Road, owned and occupied by Mr. John Couley. The firemen were able to confine the outbreak to the kitehen. The second call was to a "cooler" in the course ai construction the fear of a dairy at the corner of Elizabeth Street and t}p{ninion Road- The brigade was able to confine the damage to the ,f cpo}er.''
