MAIN LINE BLOCKED.
EXPRESS TRAINS DELATED. DUE AT AUCKLAND ABOUT 5 P.M. A derailment to a goods train as it was nearjng Mangaonoho, about half-way between Marton and Taihape, about fl p.m. yesterday, caused a complete blockage of Main Trunk traffic for several hours. The aceident was caused by a coalladen wagon leaving the track, and this derailed nine following trucks. The permanent way was damaged for over forty yards. Both north and south bound Main Trunk expresses were held up on either side of the mishap. The track was all clear at 3,10 ft,p., and traffic wag resumed at 3.30 a.m, The WellingtonAuckland ordinary and Limited expresses Were joined up, and continued the journey as one train. Latest advices reeeived by head office of the Railway Department in Auckland was that the express would pass through Frankton Junction at 2.30, and would i arrive in the vicinity of 5 p.m.
