MEDALS FOR BRAVERY.
RESCUES FROM DROWNING. (By Telegr..ph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The board of directors of the Royal Humane Society has awarded a bronze medal to Mr. Frederick Manning Langdon, aged 22, of Auckland, in recognition of his rescuing a child from drowning at Onehunga on January 30. j A bronze medal has also been awarded to Leonard Gordon Hatch, aged 13, of Wanganui, for rescuing a man from drowning on September 1.
