AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Waihi shares are a shade firmer. Sales were made yesterday afternoon at 14/2, which price was again offered at the opening call to-day, but sellers asked 14/5. Business was done in shares in Pukemiro Collieries at £3 9/, as against £3 10/ last week. Union Steam preference shares sold at £1 0/9, and for Goldsbrough, Mort, Ltd., £2 11/3 was paid. A sale took place of ordinary shares in the Commercial Bank at £1 10/1, and inquiry was made for Queensland National Bank shares at £9 2/, but no seller quoted. Union Bank shares had buyers this morning at £15 2/, but sellers wanted another three shillings.
