MARAMA IN PORT.

NIAGARA SAILED. There has been a heavy influx of overseas passengers during the last two days, from Vancouver by the R.M.s. Niagara yesteraav, and from Sydney by the Marama this morning, while the Rimutaka, which is due on Thursday, has a large number of passengers from England. The Hauraki, due to-morrow evening, has cargo from the Pacific coast. The Niagara resumed her voyage to Sydney last night, and the Antonio, which has been delayed at Auckland for repairs, is to sail to night for Lyttelton to continue discharge of her cargo of Moroccan phosphate. The Baron Inrticape, which is discharging cargo from Montreal, is to sail for southern ports to-morrow morning.

The Tiroa sailed early this afternoon for Gisborne. H.M.s. Dunedin Is to undock on Thursday morning and on completion of overhaul, will sail on a visit to southern ports. The Richardson steamer Awahou arrived last night from Portland and berthed at the Central wharf. She is to sail for East Coast ports at 5 p.m. to-day. . The Westport Coal Co.'s steamer Canopus is still barbound at Westport, and her departure for Auckland is delayed indefinitely. In continuation of her voyage from Vancouver, the Union Co.'s R.M.s. She is scheduled to sail on October 16 for Niue Island and Apia to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. For final Homeward loading the Federal steamer Westmoreland is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. She is announced to sail for London on October 18. An expected arrival at Auckland tomorrow evening is the Union Co.'s motor ship Hauraki, with lumber, case oil, and general cargo from Vancouver, Ocean tails, Powell River, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Heather, Itoberton, Ltd. have received a radio from the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin, stating that she expects to arrive from Liverpool on Saturday evening.
