RESIGNATION OF MATRON. JBj Telegraph —Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI. this day. The Wliansrarei Hospital Board to-day accepted with fiegret the resignation by Miss A. H. Cookson of her position as matron of the hospital. Members of the board spoke in eulogistic terms of tlie matron, who, during her eight years in office, has established herself as a very capable official. Miss Cookson was complimented on her appointment as matron of the Wellington Hospital.
