BEER TOO SALT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. In the Magistrate's Court to-day the Tui Brewery Co.. Mangatainoka. pleaded guilty to a charge of having an excessive amount of salt in a sample of beer which was analysed. Defendants were unable to account for the extra 15 grains per gallon. The Crown solicitor said the company was warned last year, and he suggested that carelessness was the reason for the presence of too much chloride in the beer. Mr. J. L.
