TAIHAPE MUSEUM.
election of officers.
A most representative meeting met on Thursday in the Town Hall in connection with the proposal to establish a museum in Taihape, and was presided over by his Worship the Mayor, Sir. J. P. Aldridge. The convenor of the meeting, Mr. P. Pedersen, said he was delighted with such a gathering as it- augured well for • the interest that was being taken in the project. The museum is to be known as the Otaihape Museum Society. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. J. P. Aldridge; president, Mr. J. Pedereen; vice-president, Dr. G. S. MacDiarmid; committee, Messrs. W. Winiata, P. Pine, S. W. E. Herd, MacLean, A. Jones, 6. Brice and Dr. D. L. Sinclair; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. A. Truman; auditor, Mr. F. N. Marlow.
