AUCKLAND SUBURBS SEAT.

UNITED PARTY CANDIDATE. MR. ALLEN OPENS CAMPAIGN. The United party candidate for the Auckland Suburbs seat, Mr. E. R. Allen, opened his election campaign at Whenuapal. There was an attehdanace of over forty electors. Mr. Allan spoke at length on the policy of the party, and at the conclusion of his address received a vote of thanks and confidence. In continuation of his campaign Mr. Allen addressed a wellattended meeting at Hobsonville last evening. Mr. McDonald, of Massey, was in the chair. Mr. Allen was accorded an attentive hearing, and received a vote of thanks for his address.
