Martha lode : A crosscut is in progress at TSoft east, arid measuring from the south wnll the first 10ft is quartz and the next 20ft a mixture of quartz and country. The assay value .is I low. Edward lode, driving north from Dunlop crosscut: The next 3ft assayed 14/3 per ton. Driving is suspended. Diamond drilling progress with No. 4 hole is vei-y slow owiug to difficult boring. Occidental Una. —The manager reports that No. "2 reef at No. r> level is a solid body of 'ore 2 feet G inches .wide, with a network of quartz stringers on the hanging wall. These stringers run Into the reef about two stopes overhead. ' The quartz broken from the leading stope looks well, carrying nice mineral and blend, also colours of gold.
