KAMO TOWN BOARD.
RECONSTRUCTION OF HIGHWAY, (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. . As the result of the Springs Flat area having been merged in the Whangarei county, the Kamo Town Board's proposal to borrow £1600 for the reconstruction of the main highway has been upset. At 'i special meeting the Town Board decided to start afresh to raise a loan of £1000 for the reconstruction of the main highway from the borough boundary'to Ruatangat* railway crossing. Commissioner Murdoch Mclnqea was re-elected chairman of the board.
